well. how to start? had a fantastic weekend. and by fantastic i mean seeing charlie's angels and holding hands with my girl (at the drive-in!) fantastic. stumbling upon a surf competition fantastic. brand new flip-flops fantastic.
yeah. i'll stop the yogurt comercial now. i hate that commercial.

so. yes. a good weekend. the drive-in was a surprise and oh-so-fun. i loved it! (loved charlie's angels too. . .)
saturday we met a really cool girl. she's a student of s's (the girl's best friend). she invited us down to the surf competition she was in. . .the waves never really got rolling, but the competition went off in the afternoon. this girl was GOOD. heads and shoulders above the rest. and she was a very cool person. she's the coolest 16 yr. old *i've* ever met. (even back when i was 16!) and now she's gonna teach my girl and s how to surf! i'm jealous. we spent sat night and sunday looking for a wetsuit for the aspiring surf girls.
i washed our cars while my love dutifly (am i making up that word? ah well) read harry potter so i can have it next. . . we went for a run, and then it was time for her to go to work =(
s and i hung out, lifted, and then headed in to visit and stroll around for the night. i was out way too late and up way too early this morning. but it was worth it. ah. . .the weekends of summer. there's so much more we have planned! wineries, beaches, surf and kiteboard lessons, and. . .VACATION! woo!
