rugby is in full swing and i am distracted. distracted into focus on the field and distracted in a different direction off of it.
finding connections that are growing in interesting ways - trying to figure out what my intentions are. hoping to understand the fascination with a sly smile that is holding something back.
happy and content on one end. excitable and overzealous on the other.
i catch her eye and there is something familiar. we are comfortable and easy. naturally falling into shared habits.
this part is the ride, but i know the other side of it is safer. i just can't wish for it to come too quickly.
