summer is fantastic. we can walk to the beach and our deck is officially under construction.
(not by us, thank god)
things have calmed and i've gained a good friend who makes me laugh and grin. and maybe sometimes i have moments of wanting ALL her attention - but it is not as overwhelming. phew.
i've managed to ride 150 miles on my bike in two days. i need a serious break from padded spandex.
we hosted 14 people at the house for 2 nights. that was an ordeal and pushed our capacity in space and cleaning product. but worth it. again, i will be taking a break from turkey burgers and m&m cookies.
i should look for a job, but i'm really warming to this summer vacation thing.
